I need them to do a song together.
Just a thought, actually it's more of a request.

got this from PITCHFORK:
If Solange Knowles isn't sampling Boards of Canada or getting Jay-Z and Beyoncé into Grizzly Bear, she's jamming out to Dirty Projectors. She's been bumping DP so much, in fact, that she decided to go ahead and cover the Brooklyn band's Bitte Orca standout "Stillness Is the Move", which always sounded like a monster R&B track in disguise anyway.
There's currently no official release planned for the cover-- Solange just really liked the song. Listen and download after the jump:

Whenever I’m asked to define today’s Honey girl, my quick, canned response is: “We’re more Solange, than Beyonce.” Now don’t get me wrong, Honey hearts Queen Bey (the supernova keeps us perpetually entertained and inspired) but we tend to identify with the 23-year-old rebel — the adventurous, outspoken, risk-embracing, cuss-you-out-if-you-even-try-to-diss-her-sis, outrageous-ensemble-rocking singer/songwriter. And the list goes on:
We hope you enjoy gawking at her gorgeous, weave-free mug as much as we enjoyed shooting it.
You talked a little bit about your stages for fashion and philosophy but what would you say this stage is in your style evolution? What are you looking toward for spring 2010?
I think right now, I’m learning how to incorporate completely different extremes as to my last record, it was just like an overstimulation of extremes, which I love. Now, I’m learning how to have one more simple extreme or one more statement extreme, and learning how to blend those together. But you probably will still see me rocking animal print as I did the other day. Someone cracked up laughing and was like ‘Where the hell do you think you’re going with flannel, leopard and stripes?’ I was like ‘I’m going to tackle my day.’
It sounds like you guys have a good situation worked out there. I have to ask about dating. How’s that going?
It’s going… umm… that is definitely where I become the typical industry girl that says…
I’m married to my work!
(Laughs) I’ve been in this game way too long to expose that part because even if you have something good, it can be criticized and massacred, dissected. It may even start tension that wasn’t there. It’s really easy to assume with this new-age blog thing and Twittering. It’s just a tough situation.
Well, speaking of assumptions. I think a lot of people have been zeroing in on Twitter convos between you and a certain Mr. Wale, automatically linking the two of you together. Then we see Central Park photos…
Riiiight.
Whether we’re rooting for it or not… we just want to know.
Well, he’s definitely not my boyfriend.
Well, we can cross that off the list.
No, I just stated that he’s not my boyfriend, but we are good friends. I have worked with him in the past and I think he’s uber-talented. I think he’s really smart and really creative. And I respect his art. We have a mutual thing. We’re on the same record label and yeah…
We’re really excited about his album.
Yeah, I am, too.
I’m wondering can we expect any Solange appearances?
No, we had a song entitled “Fuck the Industry.”
Yes, one of our faves.
But no, we don’t have a song on each other’s record. We worked together on the VMAs. That went really well. We were trying to find the damn footage. Everyone only got to see a sni… not a snippet, I call it a ‘sni’.

The first time that I probably realized, 'OK, this is not a stereotypical black girl moment,' I was in the fourth grade... I went to a record store and bought all these Alanis Morissette and Fiona Apple records," recalls Solange Knowles with a laugh. "I remember coming home and blasting them in my room, and my mother being like, 'That's devil worship music!'"
Knowles is tucked sweetly, if sickly, into the corner of a banquette in the restaurant of a W Hotel in Manhattan, nursing a mean cold or flu -- "I don't even want to tell you what I think I have, because you'll be like, 'Let me sit back'" -- but every bit the professional, she has shown up for the fight, ready to answer whatever questions I might have in an effort to further promote her new record, SoL-AngeL & the Hadley St. Dreams, with the aim of not merely getting people to buy it, but to understand it... and to understand her.
Sipping chamomile tea, wearing a white Armani sweater draped over her impossibly small shoulders, Armani velour jeans and shiny white patent leather jazz shoes, she looks something like a beautiful, frail bird whose wings have been flapping much too fast of late. Far from the vibrant soul-queen persona she affects in videos and public appearances (and the accompanying pictures here), today Solange is decidedly subdued and the lips are un-glossed -- not for nothing, neither. In the past two weeks, she's jetted from Paris to New York to Bermuda and back to New York, performing, doing photo shoots and press, filming a video, and being a mom to her 4-year-old son, Julez. "The problem is that I haven't had just one night or day to really just rest," she says, the need for rest practically pulsating from her body. Knowles insists, though, that after this interview, and another performance the next day, she's going to take a break. When I ask her why she works herself so hard, she explains, "I come from a family of workaholics. Both of my parents have hustler spirits. So whenever you grow up in that kind of household, you know, it's just a hustler spirit -- work, work, work. It's hard to know anything else." .... For the Full Article Click Here.

I can dig it.
I actually love it.
[Sans her playing in her hair while she pees on the stick
I know, i know, it's a video.
Still, I wanted to give her some antibacterial wipes.]
This is my favorite Solange song, I'm glad it's a single.

"T.O.N.Y." is the next single off of Solange's album Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams.
She shoot the video in NY recently. The MOMENT I find it online I will post it.
Here are a couple of pictures from the set. Ceelo (who co-wrote the song) was on set as well.
I dig the song and I'm hoping she'll do another dope video.

I enjoy this track. I want to say I like it more than the original.
Solange & Wale - Fuck The Industry (Remix)

I honestly could care less about that whole Fox interview fiasco.
People are gonna always say she wouldn't be anywhere without her sister.
It is pointless to assert, because to me it doesn't matter I guess because
she is actually talented. If she was pushing some bull-crap I would agree, but she
does her thing musically and I give her all the respect I give other artist.
Aside from that, if you don't know I'm not the hugest Beyonce fan.
I think she's an incredible artist, but people definitely go too hard for her.
Anywho, check the video...I like her fashion philo & her I enjoy her visual.
