RAD BROMANCE from John Polly on Vimeo.

This is soooooooooooo freaking weird.

i saw the 'video phone' video. it moved me not. a lot of people like (and it speaks to their taste).
i'm tired of blank backgrounds, weave patting choreography and posing. i honestly was excited to
see two titans collide and create something stunning, especially after the release date was
postponed. ultimately the video was a multicolored version of 'check up on it' (another well
written insta-classic). i don't really know why laga gaga was present? she served no propose.
she was basically a Caucasian shadow (miming beyonce). i'm all for pr but she should have
politely declined and went on with prepping for the release of 'the fame monster'. i'm over so
the b stans, simply because they don't know how to critique or choose not too. if she makes it
they swoon & it baffles me. i like a lot of different artist but i stan for no one because no one is
that good (except prince). i like to dialogue but all i've been hearing is "she looked good.", "she
went off.", etc and so on. beyond costume changes, make up, ass shaking & posing there is no
meat to this clip. like none. it could just as easily be photoshoot footage with music attached.
it would be one thing if this was done purposely (that's definitely not the case). i don't know,
when it comes to art, pop culture, and creativity i often feel alone. people are too cavalier,
tossing accolades and distinction around so freely. the queen? honestly? "she's sells records!"
so does Soulja Boy. she ain't my damn queen. don't get me wrong, she's a great performer and
singer. that's about it. anyway, i digress. that video was lame. if you can honestly tell me you
thought it was significant, creative and well crafted you should seek professional help.
k-thanks-bye.

i couldn't post it here, i just couldn't.

I look forward to this Lady Gage / Beyonce collaboration. SNAPSHOT.

Advance photos of LADY GAGA in the new V MAGAZINE

V Magazine issue #61

This is the first time LADY GAGA appears on V MAGAZINE’s cover even though she was in issue #60 with an inside spread. LADY GAGA was photographed by MARIO TESTINO in NYC and wears Marc Jacobs styled by Nicola Formichetti. The magazine is available on newsstands staring today, Sept 1^st. It will come in 2 different versions with GAGA “wearing” removable electrostatic blue and pink Marc Jacobs glasses. The interview was conducted by former MTV VJ John Norris and GAGA appears bronzed and gorgeous!

Editor-in-chief STEPHEN GAN quote regarding the new cover: "When the Marc Jacobs pink hooded coat and glasses came down the runway, I knew there was only one person I wanted to see in it: Lady Gaga. Growing up as a kid obsessed with new wave, I would cut up paper sunglasses and put them on to celebs’ faces on magazine covers. These plastic peel on and peel off glasses come in pink and blue and are actually based on the Marc Jacobs ones that came down the runway! There's no other celeb that has done more for the eyewear biz than Gaga. Giving people something tactile and collectible...I feel like a kid again peeling those glasses on and off the V cover."

[thanks AUSTIN!]

I expect style, spectacle, and a supernova.

These are some new shots [click to enlarge] of Lady Gaga's spread for V Magazine #60 issue which hits newsstands on July 7th. It's the Beauty Issue/ Fall Preview. This is her first fashion appearance in V magazine and with her flair for all that is avant-garde I doubt it's her last. She was photographed by Sebastian Faena and styled by Nicola Fomichetti. Clad in Givenchy & Balmain, sporting a gold orb piece by Nasir Mazhar, she looks spectacular. Great shots! Thanks for the "exclusive" Austin.

Lady Gaga is a performance artist. The energy, vocals, costumes, dancing, lighting & special effects all came together wonderfully. She executed this with precision and style. It only makes me yearn for her tour with KANYE in the fall. The show will kill. check out the rehearsal for this performance.

Lady Gaga's maxim spread (and I do mean spread.)

I thought nothing could top 2008's Glow In The Dark Tour.
Kanye West and Lady Gaga are going on tour.
This will be epic. So far the details don't exist but word is they will
perform together, no opening act, it will basically be one long set.
These two? This is gonna be CRAZY! Watch Ye' on The View:

This video is epic, ironic, haute couture, and brilliant.
