Real World Brooklyn Trailer.

Remember the post about the Real World 21: Brooklyn? Well I just found a trailer.
This is not your older brother's Real World, it reminds me of the trailor for Seven Pounds.
Since I'm a little more emo which each passing day, I look forward to watching things unfold.

The Real World Brooklyn

This is the story of seven strangers picked to live in a house and have their lives taped
to find out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real...
[sadly I have that little spiel memorized because I've been watching the Real World
since I could sit up in a chair by myself.] This is the 21st season of the show and of course
the each cast member was carefully selected from the freshest twenty somethings
America had to offer in order to ensure bitchy bickering, raging tirades, jealousy,
random sex, debauchery, and drama. Now I'm not a huge fan of television (though
lately I've been over indulging) but I will definitely watch this season.

Lets play a little game. I'm going to write seven RANDOM facts and you match the fact to the face.

1. Gay, University of Miami graduate who is a dolphin trainer.
2. A personal trainer who was featured in Men's Health for having the "best abs on the east coast.
3. Italian-American transwoman who is a self proclaimed computer geek.
4. Conservative Republican and a "punk rock Mormon"
5. Army Vet who guarded Saddam Hussein at his trail.
6. A Hip-Hop DJ, who was raised by hippie parents in Salt Lake City (not a Mormon)
7. A flirtatious diva who is also a former Miss American Teen 2005 & Miss Missouri Teen.

Shits hard isn't it.
When I can match names with faces I'll post the answers.

Ms. Jackson has these hilarious little MTV shorts based
on MTV's most memorable reality tv show stars...
and I use the term star loosely.

50th Annual Grammy Awards

The Grammy Award show is sort of a gift and a curse. Sometimes you're proud and elated when hard-working artist receive the accolades they deserve, then sometimes they just fuck up. This year was no different. Alicia Key, Prince, Rihanna, and several other notable artist all sported this cockatoo chic hairstyle...I think it works...*avoids eye contact*...Tina Turner looked like the poster child for Botox and Boobs...Beyonce did ok, I wasn't really impressed...Kanye's performance was visually stunning, and is a great preview for his tour I'm assuming, plus Daft Punk is the shit...Alicia Keys was spellbounding...Aretha Franklin was ummm, let's just say she had a lot of stage presence. I hated how the producers of the show cut Kanye off during his speech...but then again, he doesn't really have much respect for people during their speeches, remember that fiasco with J.U.S.T.I.C.E. at the MTV Europe Awards...All the same, it was kinda messed up.BUT Amy Winehouse's acceptance speech was the BEST! The BEST! Click here to see it.

I just love the awkwardness of this photo below:

A message to the "big heads" @ MTV.

Over the course of the past 4+ years I've noticed at massive decline in quality of the Video Music Awards. As a spawn of the MTV era I feel extremely disappointed with the lack of planning, ragged transitions, and an overall feeling that every presenter and performer is drunk off their ass.

get it together, or pay the piper.

also, my run-through of last nights events is still to come.
there is so much that needs to be said.

the movement.
